A Lobster's Tale, no Tail

There were 2 people in this family absolutely chomping at the bit to sink their teeth into a fresh lobster. The rest of us were just grossed out spectators. Bill and Gregory eagerly got in the line at Lobster Shack to order their VERY fresh Maine Lobsters. How fresh? Well, Bill said that as they ordered the worker turned around, pulled one out of the holding tank and plopped it into the hot water. Yep, that fresh.

So it didn’t take long before the 2 of them sat down to feast. It probably took longer to cook the kids hot dogs, burgers and my fish sandwich than it did those lobsters!
We paid $20 for the first lobster and $10 for the second...
Let the cracking and butter dipping begin…..
like the bibs?!  The kids liked tying it on Dad-
After the carnage and scarfing of food, the gagging and grossing out by yours truly and my sidekicks started

I mean really, who the heck would NOT gross out at THIS:
There are some things that most definitely do not belong at the dinner table and the insides of lobsters belong in that category. You think?
After nearly urping after taking those pictures, the boys licked their fingers clean (I did stop them from licking the paper boats) and we made our way back outside, said good bye to the ocean view
and snapped a family photo
as proof we ate at a Man vs Food destination!
I think we are done with lobster for a good long while now......
