The boys acquired a new toy today. A friend from school was 'liquidating' his Xbox games and equipment, so the boys split the purchase of a cordless guitar and the Guitar Hero game. A steal for $20. It's always so nice when they encourage each other.....'gee Jacob, how can you keep missing the notes....' yeah, that kind of stuff just warms the cockles of my heart.
They, on occasion, have enough patience to let Laurel 'sing'. More like 'mumble' along and hit a few words every now and then! She knows a handful of the Kung Foo Fighting lyrics from the Band Hero set up. Here she is in all her dancing/singing, glory thinking she is all that! Now imagine some mumbling, some high foot kicks and the chorus ringing out loud and clear 'everybody was KUNG FOO FIGHTING-hiya'
Her choice of PJ's is just as thrilling, isn't it? Between the nightgown, the PJ bottoms and the loud socks....yowsa. If I wasn't color blind before, I just might be now!
