The 'ouch' factor

Yesterday we paid a visit to our dearly loved white lightening.  There she was, sitting behind rod iron gates, awaiting the attention of an insurance adjuster. After seeing the damage and hearing the approximate cost to fix it, it amazes me how much it costs to fix cars.  All the damage done that the naked eye can't see sure adds up-

We know the gentleman who owns the place we are using for the repairs, so we know we aren't getting taken advantage of.  Knowing someone trustworthy in the business makes the experience easier-if there is such a thing when it comes to car repair!  Until you are in the midst of insurance jargon it's hard to understand just how complicated it can be.  There is no 'straightforward' way about it!  The good news is that it appears the costs to repair the van come in under the valued amount of the van so we're good to go to get it fixed!
