So after many weeks of having only partially working computers, one of them is on its way home...the laptop. Like we had thought, everything was wiped out. My word of advice-subscribe to Carbonite. Do it...today! We do subscribe to Carbonite so thankfully...fingers crossed since it's the first time we've had to put it to the test.......we'll be able to bring the laptop home, plug it in, sync it up to Carbonite and all the goods will be restored. That means no lost pictures-probably the most important thing! The new Windows, whatever number they are on, now has also been installed.
Next up...the dinosaur in the office. I only call it that with affection now, mind you. I am very thankful we have a backup and Bill just put a new monitor up so I don't feel like my eyesight is going!
In other news, the kids are getting better-no more fevers and are now only bothered by a really cruddy and persistent cough. No signs yet of remaining healthy kids coming down with it!! Yay!

We are praying for Stellan too. What an awful way to spend your first birthday.
Carbonite doesn't work on externals! ahhh. So glad it will work for you.
