I didn't think it was possible for anyone to love the lake more than the boys, however, that was before Catalena came with us. I think she quite possibly could. Oh my word that child LOVED the lake and all it had to offer. I was so happy to see her smiling all day.......
We warmed her up slowly...first getting IN the water, then up for some rides on the red tube-
Gregory showing some brotherly love to Luke. Luke is so funny, he used to be the most timid of all of the kids around water. Now? Oh no, he assures me on one of the tube rides 'I'm OK mom, you don't have to hold my hand'. Gee thanks sweetie.....
And Laurel, she loves the water, the bumps, the speed. 
The lake was up over 2 feet from our previous visits, so there were some new areas to check out. So long as it has shoreline they are happy campers! Rocks to climb, mud to squish in, junk to collect....my kids are such junk collectors!!
Bill played 'king of the tube' with Eric and Jacob. They tried to see how long they could stand on the tube while he yanked the rope as hard as he could. Made for some funny picture opportunities!
Enjoying some floating time with Luke. This little cove was so peaceful....muddy....but peaceful.
Gregory and Eric got a hold of the camera and this is what Catalena had to say about it....
Saturday night we enjoyed a BBQ dinner with our friends that also have a place at the lake. We were glad that Catalena had another couple girls to hang out with!!
And Sunday? Oh, Sunday was jam packed with butt bumping, wake jumping, head whipping, gloriously fun tube riding time!! Let the pictures to the talking!

Oh yeah, there was also some poor man's version of boating going on
as well as some cow chasing too...(see Michelle, you can come to the lake and feel at home, pretend you're at the ranch!!)
It's really too bad that 1) the lake is 3 hours away and 2) it's not a place we can enjoy ALL year long! Oh well, we've only got one or two more weekends to enjoy this season, and that we will!!

Fun memories! Catalena just fits right in.
I love it! Cow chasers--hilarious! Now you're old pros and will fit right in at the big ranch. Let us know when you want to come out. Please bring Catalena too! I know Brooke and Claire would love her.
We had a fun lake weekend ourselves. Kids just loved it.
