Table Rock lake...it rocks!

In case you haven't noticed, we love water. Some of us more than others. Pool water, hose water, lake water, amusement park ride water, it's all good. We so enjoyed our time playing around at Table Rock Lake in Branson. The lake is so huge-nearly 800 miles of shoreline and a balmy 83 degree water temp. Aaaaahhhh.

One afternoon we went to the only beach area at the lake. The majority (99%) of the shoreline is rocky but this one area was made specifically for beach play. Still a bit rocky but the kids didn't care. Laurel was chomping at the bit to put her face under-

So proud of herselfAnd what he thought he'd see, I have no idea. But goggles/Eric/water...they are all synonymous, no matter how murky the water.Even Bill's croc took a leisurely float And Laurel's crocs ate some sandThese 4 were on a mission...to bring back minnows. Instead they brought back rocks and a fishing bobber.Eye see you, do you see me?This may have been the last picture of its kind. I'm pretty sure that by next summer, my sweet twin boys will be nearly eye level with me. No more stair steps. How's that for a sign that they are growing up....sniff.....I am comforted by how much my kids love to be around water. However, it also makes me a little neurotic when I think of all kinds of weird things happening....life jackets coming undone, kids slipping off boat docks......a mother's mind can get so carried away at times. They all know safety comes first around water and there is no messing around when it comes to that safety. And with that, they are set for a lifetime of fun- Wet fun!
