Happy 4th Birthday!

Yesterday was Luke and Laurel's official 4th birthday, although we get to spread it out over the next week since their birthday party isn't until next Sunday. They are perfectly fine with that! Our sleeping 4 year old beauties......

Opening a few of their presents. Laurel got a bead set from G and J and loved it....couldn't wait to dig into it. Later in the afternoon she made 4 necklaces.Luke was split in his love for Mater from Eric and a Diego toy from G and J

Then on to a ninja power breakfast.....Followed by some play time in the new princess hut (that I specifically tagged 'To Laurel, you have to share with Luke', knowing he wouldn't be able to keep out).

We took them to Hoot's for some jumping, sliding, swinging and climbing......The day ended with a few more presents...Luke and Laurel LOVED the new pull suitcases they got. Diego for Luke, Tinkerbell for Laurel. Now they can have their own 'space' for family vacations and they'll be able to take them on the airplane for Auntie April's wedding in November.The day wouldn't be complete without the birthday cake...well, cupcakes anyway. Those sad pink ones are supposed to be heart shaped but they were VERY stubborn coming out of the silicon molds. We all sang to Luke first......Then we sang to Laurel.....They are now proud....................

Four Year Olds! We only have one more 'not in school' birthday celebration with them and that just seems so wrong. I asked Laurel if she would stay 3 forever and she said yes......but then again, that might not be such a good idea.
