Birthdays and Easter

It doesn't happen often, but every once in a while, Easter is surrounded by birthdays in our house. This year it was preceeded by Luke, Laurel and my Grandma's birthday and then followed by Bill's birthday, which is tomorrow. It makes for lots of bows, dresses, packages, eggs and presents and church. I think it'll take me the rest of the week to get it all posted!

L and L's birthday continued on Friday when they got their gifts from my parents. If it is one thing they love, it is the music playing cards from Hallmark. You know...the EXPENSIVE, don't open it too far or it will break, music cards? But my parents were sweet to indulge them in their love of those cards. Can you tell how much they approve?

They are good at sticky fingering away other people's music cards, so they are now pleased to have their own. They also are quite into build a bear too (thank you Autumn) so they each got an outfit for 'Lamby' and 'Lucky'. Actually, Lucky got a leash and collar. Luke usually makes any piece of string, rope, cord or yarn in to a leash. So now Lucky is official and not being choked by a string! And Lamby? She is stylin' in a Disney princess tee and her very own tiara and wand...oh la la!Happy Birthday Luke and Laurel....again! And Happy almost Birthday Bill.....he is in for a treat for his birthday. He gets to help me take L and L to their 4 year well child appointment that also includes SHOTS!!

Happy Birthday, L and L! Hope you had a great day.

The pictures of them are great. They are so very sweet! What kids love cards? So nice.

Aren't you glad all the "fun" is over?
