#1, 2 and 3!

There are so many fun pictures that I'd love to post, but I'd run out of time and space allowance on my blog if I did that!! So the following are a few pictures from Luke and Laurel's birthdays from the past 3 years

1st Birthday 2006

Luke dug right into his cake and loved it!

Laurel, well, she took a while to decide if she liked it or not. She liked it but not nearly as much as Luke.

Birthday #2, 2007

Even though you can't see Luke's face in this picture, it is one of my favorites. The morning after their birthday he picked this one picture out and very carefully set it on the floor and lay down to study it.....so sweet!!

And on to birthday #3, 2008

We took them to the mall to ride the carousel and then to Johnny Rockets for lunch. They were so cute and held hands as they walked....which quickly turned into runnning, but it was sweet while it lasted!

Birthday cake at home.......we celebrated a multitude of birthdays a couple different times that year. Once for just L and L, then once with my Grandma, MIL, Bill and L and L...too many April birthdays! Laurel dutifully blew out the candles on her cake...and then promptly asked for Goldfish...WHAT?! My homemade chocolate cake and she didn't want any of it...turkey!They got bikes for their birthday and allowed their brothers to push them around the house.It's all gone by in the blink of an eye. Tomorrow we are taking them to an indoor bounce play place, picking up some baby chickens and enjoying some time at home. We'll see if she eats her cake THIS year!
