The Princess and the Dragon

We had a very busy weekend with lots of fun to share, but I already had this post waiting, so enjoy and I'll get our weekend pictures under control! We had the camera with us through 2 soccer games, 1 football game and a visit to our friend's pumpkin patch....we took a lot!

Of all the costumes that run aplenty in our house, princess ones are not among them. Needless to say Laurel was THRILLED when we picked up this princess costume at the twins club sale. We also got her a super cute cowgirl 2 pc outfit (all in thanks to my good friend Heidi's great taste..they both once belonged to her daughter). We told her she can wear the cowgirl outfit to the boys' school carnival and the princess outfit on Halloween. And Luke, well, he was thinking he'd try to squeeze into the Buzz Lightyear costume he wore last year, but we may have swayed his opinion when we brought home this dragon costume. He was pretty excited! We've jokingly said Eric should be the prince and then we'd have a theme. G and J want to be vampires...can't really fit those into the story line!

Now, of course this could all change the day before, but I hope not!!
