Have mower, will ride

We are now approaching our 5th spring season 'down by the river'...albeit the brown river......but even with the minimal moisture it provides and the fact that we can reach water after digging just 6 feet, our grass grows a lot.  That is, once it starts to grow for the season.  There is no way we could get it all done in any reasonable amount of time with a push mower, so the ride mowers have come out of hibernation.  Let the mowing begin!

I might add that having kids that like to help (a term I use loosely) run the mowers gets things done a little faster.  They even got their first potential paying customer lined up for this weekend!  Good thing they got to practice with our grass last weekend......

De-thatching, mowing, bagging, blowing dirt and elm seed pods, sticky cottonwood tree droppings, allergies, sneezing, runny eyes, Kleenex...yep, it's Springtime where we live!
