This was Luke and Laurel's first Easter and our first Easter in the new house. I think is was also known as 'the squinty eyed Easter'.........can you tell why?
My parents were out of town and I know we did not attempt to go to mass with 5 all by ourselves....especially since L and L were only 12 months old. You can't get much out of church with 5 kids under the age of 7 in attendance. It's a known fact........so we spent the day at home and then flooded the backyard. We have water rights to flood by opening gates from an irrigation canal......complicated to explain, but the kids love having a giant water puddle the size of the backyard to slosh around in!!
