Despite the crazy dance party/wedding reception the night before, the kids were all ready for Magic Kingdom the next morning. We got out of the condo by 8:30 and then drove on in with lots of other people! To get to Magic Kingdom, it requires parking in one lot, walking a long way (since we put so much in the stroller cargo space there was NO WAY we were getting it folded up to get on the tram) and then standing in our first line to get on our first ride, the monorail. Magic Kingdom is the one park that has no parking lot within walking distance of the actual park.
First thing we saw-the castle! AND...Christmas decorations! ?I cannot tell you how excited I was when I found out the parks would be decorated for the holidays. SMILE!!!

Eric quickly found what he hoped could be his souvenir. Umm, well, he got a big no for 2 reasons. First up-size! And he quickly discovered reason #2. Eeyore was $100. He went right back on the shelf!
The first ride we rode as a family was Dumbo. And it was also the longest wait just about! We waited 30 minutes, but once we rode we were done with Dumbo!
The teacups were popular and thankfully we were able to split up happily into a 'spin like crazy cup', a 'spin kinda but not TOO fast', and a 'don't touch the disc in the middle, just sit back and enjoy the ride'. Uncle Mark and Eric were in the crazy fast teacup. Bill and boys were in the medium spin cup.
And Gregory, Laurel and I were in the don't touch the disc teacup. Although we let Laurel think she was spinning us.....
Another favorite ride of every one's, surprisingly, was the people mover. All you do is sit and watch Tomorrowland go by as the ride winds you through it. Relaxing, nice, my feet said THANK YOU!
We rounded out the day with a ride on Thunder Mountain. Luke was so ready!
We came for the day with a stroller packed with snacks, drinks and lunches. We left with tired kids, empty lunch boxes and the kids asking 'where are we going tomorrow'?! Epocot!!
