Well, on to day 3 with no lap top. I feel so inadequate! No where to download my pictures.....no where to get pictures to upload to the blog. BORING. And it has been so not boring around here the past 2 days! I'm going to be seriously behind once we finally figure out what's wrong with it....there's Brad to blog about and then there was today. A very, very, busy today.
We had to take our Sienna to the glass replacement shop. Bill was cutting aluminum extrusions for the solar system, when a piece flew through the encasement he had around the saw, went straight for the Sienna and the piece (very small piece too) immediately shattered the window in the slider door. Perfect timing too....someone was supposed to come look at it today from our Craig's list posting. So there was car shuffling, lunch getting..thanks to my mom and dad for a little chauffeuring-and then off to soccer game number one, followed by soccer game number two, conveniently located on the same field.
After the soccer games, L, L and E were off to a birthday party while Bill, G, and J went to pick up the Sienna from the glass place-and wouldn't you know it, the people who wanted to see it never called this afternoon...go figure. After that birthday party it was off to birthday party number 2 where we enjoyed a small family gathering/BBQ/freeze your rear off while sliding down a big water slide in the backyard as the wind blew and the sun went down. The kids were shivering, turning blue and having the BEST time ever!! Kids and water......it could have been 40 degrees and they still would have been game. Luke and Laurel passed out on the way home...super cute picture to share documenting that moment.
It amazes me the amount of stuff I have to pack up for a day like today. Spare clothes for after the soccer game, extra shoes/socks, swimsuits, birthday presents, camera bag, snack backpack, water bottles, chairs, umbrellas.......the hall looks like the closet threw up. So one day out on the town means a whole other day putting the stuff away.....sigh....
Bill's off to a soccer coaching full day clinic tomorrow so who knows if I'll have a functioning computer by Monday. These posts are so stinkin' blah without pictures.....I know you are nodding-sorry-blame technology!

Hello my friend!! I'm so glad to get a moment to catch up on your blog! It's been way too long!! I have no excuse...only 2 kids, but still seem to find "no time"! Love & miss you and will try and call later in the week. We must catch up! Hugs,
