Weather on the beach

What a difference a day can make when you stay on the coast! The first picture is the day after we arrived in Newport, Oregon, looking out from the deck in our condo...clear, sunny, still cold, but a very nice day...

And this was taken two days later when a storm came through that lasted for 2&1/2 days. It was very gray, windy...FREEZING, and the ocean looked SO very different! Lots of white caps-but we still ventured down to the beach to see what it looked like. The boys found most of their crab parts after that storm.

The weather was beautiful (not to be confused with warm though!) again right before we left-this was the day we went to the lighthouse.

In a few of the pictures I posted earlier, this is the lighthouse you could see in the background.
