Flashback Friday: Here's lookin' at you kid.....er, kids

We have a wall in our house that holds photos taken by one particular photography studio.  They take really great pictures...ones that are way out of this world in price and are only affordable with a really steep discount!  Annually we get a family photo taken at the studio and usually get our one 8x10 and well, that's about it!

It all started with the arrival of child #1 and 2.  The theme was set with each subsequent child, a certain pose we had to choose....this one was taken when the boys were just 6 weeks old

We then eliminated ourselves from the photo when Eric arrived, but stuck with the same pose........this sesion also served as his baptism session, hence the white gown.......

Last but certainly not least, came Luke and Laurel......see, with this pose there was no worry or stress about making sure the kids were all smiling at the camera, heck they didn't even have to look at the camera!  Nope, all they had to do was gaze adoringly at their tiny sibling(s).  We figured they could do it at least ONCE in their lifetimes!

I think we need one with mom and dad laying on the floor and the kids smiling at us...hmmm, I'll have to think about that one.  Nah, they'd be cracking up too much......we probably would be too! Besides, with 5 kids it would look more like a huddle.......
