Back to school big boys tradition

We usually enjoy a back to school dinner with the kids.  This year a new option presented itself so we traded dinner for dessert!

Back many months ago, my parents gave us a gift certificate to a really nice restaurant.  However, even with the generous gift, the meals were still kind of expensive, so we decided we'd save it and take the kids to a fancy dessert experience.  The kind of fancy where they put the napkin in your lap FOR you!!

After deciding to 'share' the yumminess, we ordered Creme Brule...Gregory's favorite,
Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake...mine and Eric's choice,
Raspberry and Mango sorbet...a group choice, and Strawberries Amaretto Flambe....everyone's choice!!
At the end of the dessert experience, the dishes were very empty and our stomachs were very full!  I was very proud of the boys.  They were so polite and used great manners and nothing was spilled!!  Success!  Now, if success follows them through this next year of school, that's really all we can ask as their parents.
